M2 Devices & Browsers

M2 is built for the mobile browser. Use an up-to-date Chrome or Safari and you will rarely run into problems.

Recommended setup

DeviceBrowserApp option
Android phoneChrome⋮ menu → Add to Home Screen → Install
iPhone / iPadSafariShare → Add to Home Screen → Add
Windows / MacChrome or EdgeInstall icon in the address bar

Keep your browser and phone software updated. Old browser versions are the most common cause of pages that look broken.

Home Screen app vs browser

  • Home Screen app: opens full screen with one tap, always goes to the address you installed it from, uses almost no storage.
  • Browser: shows the full address bar so you can double-check the domain; handy when switching to the backup link.

Both use the same account and the same official site. Many players use the app daily and keep the browser for troubleshooting.

Clear cache when M2 will not load

Android (Chrome)

  1. Open Chrome, tap ⋮ then Settings → Privacy and security.
  2. Tap Delete browsing data, tick Cached images and files, then delete.

iPhone (Safari)

  1. Open Settings → Safari.
  2. Tap Clear History and Website Data and confirm.

You will need to log in again afterwards, so have your username and password ready.

Shared and public devices

  • Use a private/incognito tab.
  • Do not tick Remember Me and do not let the browser save your password.
  • Log out and close the tab when you finish.

FAQs

Questions

Which browser is best for M2?

Chrome on Android and Safari on iPhone. They are also the browsers M2's own app guide uses for Add to Home Screen.

Does M2 work on tablets and computers?

Yes. M2 runs in the browser on phones, tablets and desktops, and can be installed as an app on desktop from the address bar.

Can I use M2 inside Facebook or Telegram's built-in browser?

Avoid it. In-app browsers hide the full address bar, which makes fake links harder to spot, and Add to Home Screen is not available there. Open the link in Chrome or Safari instead.

Why does M2 look broken on my phone?

Usually an old browser version or a stuck cache. Update Chrome or Safari, then clear the cache and reload.

Can I use M2 on a shared or public computer?

Use a private tab, do not tick Remember Me or save your password, and log out when you finish.
