M2 in the Browser vs the M2 App: Which Is Better?
M2 gives you two ways to play on your phone: M2 in your browser, and the M2 App added to your Home Screen. Both open the same official site with the same account, so the choice is about convenience.
Side by side
| Browser | M2 App (Home Screen) | |
|---|---|---|
| Install | None | Add to Home Screen, 3 taps |
| APK or app store | No | No |
| Storage used | None | Almost none |
| Updates | Always live | Always live |
| How it opens | Browser tab | Full screen, one tap |
| Address bar | Visible | Hidden |
Choose the browser if…
- You use more than one phone, or a shared device (use a private tab).
- You often switch between the latest and backup links.
- You like seeing the address bar so you can confirm the domain every time.
Choose the M2 App if…
- It is your own phone and you play regularly.
- You want M2 one tap away without typing or searching.
- You want to avoid search results and chat links where fake login pages hide.
Our take
Use both. Add the official link to your Home Screen for everyday play, and keep the browser for troubleshooting or switching to the backup link. Install instructions are on the M2 App page; login steps are on the M2 Login page.
